My mission is to support families in building a strong foundation for their child’s literacy. Early education rests on the three essential skills: reading, writing, and arithmetic. I work alongside parents to strengthen these skills in ways that are personalized and effective.
That’s where the “Three R’s” of early literacy come in: Re-assess, Re-evaluate, and Re-learn. These are not steps your child can take alone. Instead, they are part of the process we walk through together as a team:
- Re-assess your child’s learning style: Every child learns differently. We take a close look at how your child processes information—whether that’s through phonics, visual cues, or other strategies.
- Re-evaluate the strategies: Once we understand how your child learns best, we examine the current methods being used. Are they aligned with your child’s unique style? If not, we adjust.
- Re-learn with the right fit: Together, we help your child re-learn foundational skills using strategies that truly match their learning style. Not every method will work for every child, but finding the right one builds both skill and confidence.
Through this approach, your child doesn’t just “get by” in literacy, they build lasting confidence and independence. Reading becomes not only a necessary skill but also a source of joy.
